Are you currently accepting new clients?
Yes, I am accepting new patients across Pennsylvania and Maryland. Telehealth allows you to access care from the comfort of your home.
Do you offer therapy or just medication management?
I focus primarily on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. While I don’t provide ongoing psychotherapy, I can collaborate with your therapist or help you find one if needed.
What can I expect from our first appointment?
In our first session, you can expect to be truly heard in a supportive, judgment-free space. We’ll take time to discuss your concerns, set meaningful goals, and begin building a personalized treatment plan that works for you. In addition to addressing your mental health needs, I can also provide guidance for managing diabetes—offering a more complete, whole-person approach to your overall well-being.
How to telehealth appointments work?
Appointments are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll receive a link before your visit, and you can join from any private, internet-connected device.
What states are you licensed to practice in?
I am licensed to provide psychiatric care in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Howe often will I need follow-up appointments?
This depends on your treatment plan and how you're responding to medication. Most patients are seen every few weeks during the stabilization phase, and then less frequently once symptoms are well managed.
Can you prescribe controlled substances like stimulants or benzodiazepines?
No, I do not prescribe any controlled substances.
Can you prescribe psychiatric medication to teens and children?
At this time, I treat adults and adolescents, typically starting at age 14 and up. Please contact me directly if you have a question about a specific age group.
Will I always see the same provider?
Yes, you’ll work directly with me throughout your care. Continuity is important, and I strive to build trusted, long-term relationships with my patients.
Is telepsychiatry as effective as in-person care?
Yes. Research has shown that telepsychiatry is just as effective as in-person visits for most mental health conditions. It offers the added benefit of convenience and accessibility—especially if travel or scheduling is a barrier.
